About the championship these are the news.
This year we have the Italian 3D Championship in Mormanno, a little city in Calabria.
Program:
August 26th: Registration and Bowcheck
August 27th - August 30th: Competition (4 day in a row)
August 30th: Awards and closing ceremony

The starting fee is set at 100 Euros + membership fee (10 Euros). This is different from previously stated; that's because the 10 Euros are used for the insurance policy (against damages to third persons and your own injuries). You have to send a copy of the payment with your data (name, family name, birth date, birth place, email) to amministrazione@fiarc.it

We have 8 style of shooting:

Historical Bow (wooden arrows only, natural feathers, no plastic nocks)
Longbow (wooden arrows only, natural feathers)
Traditional Recurve (lenght max 64 inches, mediterranean loose, you can shoot only with both eyes open, no stabilizers, no moveable rests)
Barebow Recurve (you can use only one straight stabilizer no longer than 12 inches).
Barebow Compound (you can use only one straight stabilizer no longer than 12 inches)
Bowhunter Limited Compound (finger release, only one straight stabilizer no longer than 12 inches, sight with maximum 5 pins no further than 5 inches from the back of the bow)
Bowhunter Unlimited Compound (same as BLC, mechanical release allowed)
Freestyle Unlimited (Compound with everything you want, except electronical devices)

And 4 classes of age:
Cubs - under 14 years old
Juniors - under 18 years old
Adults - under 55 years old
Veterans - over 55 years old

We have 4 different rounds:

Tracciato: very similar to the IFAA Unmarked Animal Round, just 24 targets (from 24 to 72 3Ds).

It counts only the first arrow hitting the scoring zone
Shooting positions:
single target - 3 stakes
triple target - 1 stake (in this case you have to shoot from left to right or from right to left according to what written on the sign board: for example A - B - C: first you shoot at left 3D, then at the middle 3D and last at the right 3D)
10 shots have to be done with a knee down

Round 3D: similar to the IFAA 3D Standard Round, just 24 targets (24 - 48 3Ds). All the targets can be placed at a 35 meters maximum distance.

Shooting positions:
single target - 2 stakes
double target - 1 stake (in this case you have to shoot first the left 3D and then the right 3D or first the right 3D and then the left 3D, according to what written on the sign board)
8 targets have to be shot with time limitation (maximum 25" if there is only 1 stake, maximum 30" if there are 2 stakes)
4 moving targets

Battuta: similar to the IFAA 3D Hunting Round, just 24 targets (48 3Ds). Group 1 and 2 maximum 40 meters, Group 3 maximum 30 meters, Group 4 maximum 20 meters.

Shooting positions:
14 single targets - single stake
6 triple targets - single stake (you have to shoot to three targets; arrows will be scored in sequence, i.e. with 1st and 2nd arrow in the target, you can shoot the 3rd and if you hit the target you will score all the three arrows, if you miss the first it will be a total 0)
4 triple targets - single stake - time limitation (25"): you can shoot three arrows, every arrow hitting the target will count
4 moving targets - single stake
10 shoots have to be done with a knee down


Percorso: it is a 24 targets round (24 - 72 3Ds). You have to shoot three arrows in every target, all the arrows hitting the targets will count. Group 1 and 2 maximum 40 meters, Group 3 maximum 30 meters, Group 4 maximum 20 meters.

В прошлом году   ездили в Италию 4 стрелка из Калининграда. В этом едет 6. Чемпионат очень интересный, движущиеся мишени, стрельба с колена, стрельба на время, несколько мишеней разного размера на одной дистанции и т.д. В моем понимании FIARC самая интересная пострелуха на которой я был. Я писал о  прошлом чемпионате на арчери.ру  но сейчас эту тему почему-то найти не могу.

Наша команда выезжает примерно 21.08 на микроавтобусе. Планирует ехать через Прагу, хотят по ней прогуляться. Потом Австрия и почти вся Италия с остановками-экскурсиями. Я поеду  с семьей через Германию на своей машине . Отель заказал на море в 40 км. от Морманно.Для команды итальянцы что-то подобрали поближе.
