III. Competition process 1. Shooting contest lasts for 24 hours from 12.00 on December 7 to 12.00 on December 8 and is divided into 24 lots, hereinafter called Hours. 2. In the course of one Hour, one player (designated by the team) shoots 10 ends of three arrows from a distance of 18 m. a. Results obtained within 10 ends (30 arrows) in one Hour, by a sole competitor, will be included in the individual classification. b. Archers can freely change within one Hour between successive ends, after making notification of changes to the judge. The result of the Hour will not be included in the individual classification. 3. Time limit for one end is 90 s. 4. Any equipment failure should be reported to the judge. a. Missing arrows from end during which the accident occurred are shot after the Hour. If the time to complete the Hour is less than 15 minutes, the player can perform shooting after the next hour. b. If an athlete may not proceed to shoot the next end – replacement by another member of the team should be made (subject to the paragraph III.2.b). 5. One player can not shoot more than 100 ends and less than 40 ends during the tournament. 6. Practice session is possible at 10–11 am on 7 December and is not allowed on the competition field during the tournament. Archers can use a practice field during the entire Event. 7. In the case of a tie: a. places 1–8, individual classification (equal number of points, tens, nines) – a shot-off is made (one arrow to the center target during the 20 s). In the case of an equal hit value, distance from the target center is decisive. b. places 1–8, team classification (equal number of points, tens, nines) – a shot-off is made (one arrow shot by each of 3 athletes classified to compete in the shot-off; time limit: 60s). In case of an equal hits value, the shortest distance from the target center is decisive. c. other places in both classifications – athletes or teams are placed equal. 8. Technical judge may inspect the equipment at any time during competition.
